Context
How Workroom keeps your business facts aligned
Each site carries a business profile: what you do, who you help, what you offer, how you sound, the facts you have verified, your positioning, your proof points, and a never-say list. It is stored once against the site and used by the site editor chat today. The public site chatbot and routines use the same profile when those surfaces are available. Update the truth in one place and everything written after it works from that version.
How it works.
The profile is seeded from your first build
After generation, Workroom distils your prompt and the research brief into a first draft of the profile. It is strictly best-effort: generation never fails or waits on it.
You own and correct it
The profile is an editable form on the site's Settings page. A website you already own gets the same form, drafted from the live site.
Every AI surface reads the same block
The site editor chat reads the profile today. The public site chatbot and routines are wired to read the same block when they are available, so the context does not need to be re-entered for each surface.
The claims layer sets the boundaries
Positioning, proof points, and never-say terms are passed into the site editor as explicit writing constraints. They keep the instruction grounded in the facts you have approved.
Hard checks arrive with the Social routine
The coming Social routine adds deterministic checks around those instructions: banned terms are matched in copy and checked in generated images before a draft can move forward.
What to know before you rely on it.
- The profile adds context; it never adds specifics. The rule on every surface is that a model may only promise what your site content or your recorded facts already state.
- In the live site editor, profile rules are prompt constraints rather than a deterministic output validator. Review generated copy before publishing it.
- Deterministic copy and image checks belong to the Social routine, which is coming soon and cannot currently be run.
- Facts you have not recorded cannot be enforced. The profile is only as accurate as the last time you edited it.
Questions, answered.
What stops the AI claiming something I cannot back up?+
The editor receives your approved facts, proof points, and never-say terms as explicit constraints. Because the live editor does not run a deterministic claims check, you still review the generated version before publishing it.
Do I have to fill this in before I can build a site?+
No. Building comes first. The profile is drafted from that build and you correct it afterwards.

How Workroom builds a website from one brief
One description of your business becomes a complete site: web research, an architect pass that fixes the design system, parallel page builds, and a homepage that publishes early.
MCP and APIHow AI assistants update your site safely
Workroom's MCP server lets Claude, ChatGPT, or any MCP client read the authored site, patch only what changed, publish an immutable version, and restore an earlier one.
EnquiriesHow Workroom captures every enquiry
A first-party runtime on every published site turns visits into pageviews and form submissions into contacts, then routes new enquiries to email, Slack, Google Sheets, or a webhook.
