For plumbers

Build a plumbing website customers can use

A plumbing website should help someone confirm that you handle their problem, serve their address and can be contacted through the right channel. Describe repairs, installation and maintenance separately where the requirements differ. Workroom helps you build and update those pages; your team decides availability and responds to each request.

What you do in Workroom

  1. 1

    Describe the work you accept

List the actual jobs you handle: for example leak repair, drain cleaning and fixture installation. Include operating hours, your service area and exclusions. Only describe emergency availability if someone can answer and assess those calls. Do not turn an ordinary inquiry form into a promise of immediate dispatch.

  2. 2

Write contact instructions for each situation

For urgent requests, show a monitored telephone number and accurate availability. For scheduled work, ask for contact details, ZIP code, service type and a short description. Example copy: ‘For a fixture installation estimate, tell us the fixture type, ZIP code and preferred contact method.’ This is an illustrative prompt, not a customer result.

  3. 3

Review the pages and test an inquiry

Check service names, local coverage, staff details and any license or insurance claims against your own records. Submit a labeled test inquiry from a phone and confirm delivery. Review the generated pages before publishing, then use chat editing when services or opening hours change.

Questions before you build

Can this replace dispatch software?

No. Workroom builds the marketing website and captures inquiries. Keep scheduling, dispatch and field-service operations in a suitable separate system, and link to an existing booking destination when appropriate.

Should every neighborhood have its own page?

Only create a separate page when it contains useful, verifiable information beyond a different place name. A clear service-area page is usually a better starting point than many interchangeable location pages.

What proof should I show?

Use real project photographs with permission, accurate qualifications and quotations approved by the customer. Explain the work shown. Do not present a generated demonstration as a completed plumbing project.
