For consultants

A consultant site that captures the enquiry

A consulting practice needs a home page that states who you help and the problem you solve, an about page that establishes why you, an offer page (the engagement, not a menu of a hundred services), proof in the form of results or case studies, and a contact form built to capture a real enquiry rather than “get in touch”. You do not need a blog you will not write or a client portal bolted onto the marketing site.

What you do in Workroom

  1. 1

    Describe your practice

Who you help, what problem you solve, and how engagements usually run.

  2. 2

    Get the pages

Workroom builds home, about, offer, and contact, matched to what you described, ready to review.

  3. 3

Put the offer and the form on

Add the engagement and your proof points, then set the enquiry form to ask what you actually need.

  4. 4

    Connect your domain

Point a domain you own at the site and publish. SSL is handled automatically.

  5. 5

    Change the copy by asking

“Tighten the offer page.” “Add a case study.” “Ask for company size on the form.” Chat editing is free.

Questions before you build

I am not technical.

That is the point. You describe the change in plain English, the same way you would brief an assistant. There is no editor, no blocks, and no code to touch, before or after launch.

I already started in Wix or Squarespace.

That is fine. Most consultants who switch describe the practice fresh in Workroom rather than migrating content, because neither platform exports cleanly. If your current site is doing the job, keep it.

I might sell a course later.

Then you may want Wix or Squarespace's course tools, or a platform built for cohort programs. Workroom is the marketing site that sends people to your offer, not the thing that sells and hosts the course.
